Nicolas De Tavernost appointed Rennes board chairman ahead of PSG visit

Nicolas de Tavernost was appointed chairman of Stade Rennais’ board on 22 May, the former M6 chief executive and former LFP Media director bringing extensive experience in French football.
According to L'Équipe, he was in the stands for the Rennes v Bruges friendly on 25 July. It finished 2-1.
He spent 19 years linked to Bordeaux, from 1999 to 2018, as a shareholder through M6.
He succeeded Alban Gréget, May 2024 to October 2025, and Guillaume Cerutti, October 2025 to May 2026, both associated with the Pinault group.
The 75-year-old will be in the directors’ box at Roazhon Park on Sunday for the visit of PSG.
