Jürgen Klopp could hand debuts to nine more Germany players in the upcoming fixtures against Serbia and Greece, with five already capped in his experimental start.

According to BuLi News, his tenure began with underwhelming outings against Netherlands and Greece, and that tally of new faces will certainly rise in October.

Bayern goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, 23, joined Klopp at the pre-match press conference, a strong hint of a first cap against Serbia. Seen as Manuel Neuer’s successor, he has 34 appearances and sits behind Marc-André ter Stegen.

Köln winger Said El Mala, 20, extended his deal after interest from Brentford and Borussia Dortmund, and was an unused call-up under Julian Nagelsmann. Freiburg’s Derry Scherhant, 23, has displaced Vincenzo Grifo and delivered nine goal contributions this season.

Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch, 20, has started all six matches and remains on Bayern’s wishlist, with Real Madrid and Arsenal linked. Elversberg’s Felix Keidel, 23, joined from Ingolstadt for €400k, helped win promotion and, despite no youth caps, earned a senior call.

Celtic midfielder Mika Baur, 22, was a surprise inclusion after aiding Paderborn’s promotion. Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt, 28, has been ever-present in their unbeaten start, scored in two home games and captained before break, and could be Klopp’s oldest outfield debutant.

Goalkeepers Finn Dahmen, 28, and Noah Atubolu, 24, are unlikely to face Serbia but could feature in Greece after Marc-André ter Stegen and Alexander Nübel departed, and while ahead of Oliver Baumann, they will most likely miss November’s 23-man squad.
