Germany are set to switch goalkeepers again for Thursday’s meeting with Serbia. Abendzeitung reports that Jonas Urbig will make his Germany debut at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Marc-André ter Stegen, confirmed as Klopp’s number one, started the 1-1 draw with the Netherlands. Alexander Nübel then got the nod in Sunday’s 0-1 defeat to Greece.
Both have since left the national team camp. The second of two squads selected by Klopp has arrived ahead of the upcoming matches against Serbia and Greece.
Alongside Urbig, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Noah Atubolu and Augsburg’s Finn Dahmen are included in a 25-man group for the next two games.
A Urbig start would make it three different starters in three matches since Klopp took charge.
