Noa Lang and Armel Bella-Kotchap set to miss PSV’s crucial Champions League clash with Lens

Noa Lang and Armel Bella-Kotchap will miss PSV’s Champions League clash against RC Lens on Tuesday evening. The pair are currently recovering from injuries and therefore Peter Bosz will have to make do without the pair.

The absence of Noa Lang comes as no surprise seeing as though the winger missed out on his side’s 3-1 victory over Fortuna Sittard last weekend. Lang, who joined from Club Brugge during the summer, picked up a hamstring injury before the international break. The winger could be out of action for a while.

Armel Bella-Kotcha joined PSV on loan from Southampton in the summer. The German defender got off to a decent start in Eindhoven but his progress has been halted by a new injury. The severity and length of his absence is unknown, but he will miss out on Tuesday’s Champions League clash. Brazilian centre-back André Ramalho will play in his place.

Lens are currently top of group B in the Champions League, having beaten Arsenal 2-1 and drawn to Sevilla (1-1). The club are currently 15th in the Ligue table following a poor start to the campaign. It will be a tough game for PSV, but the Eredivisie leaders will be determined to pick up three points on the road.
