According to L'Équipe, Lyon’s recruitment team are tracking Noah Nartey, the 20-year-old Danish midfielder whose versatility stands out.
He has represented Denmark from under-17s to under-21s, with 10 caps at under-21 level, and appears to be edging towards the seniors. He is viewed as a modern midfielder suited to aggressive counter-pressing or possession football, exceptionally gifted yet still adding muscle, with the engine to play at the top level though occasionally eased off the ball.
Steve Cooper’s appointment at Brondby in early September reshaped his season, pushing him higher up the pitch. Moved from central to attacking midfield, he has become a key attacking reference. Since the switch, he has produced 7 goals and 3 assists in all competitions, is secure in tight spaces, seldom loses possession and is difficult to tackle.
His quick ball-carrying and line-breaking runs stand out, alongside improved passing with a high success rate and bold decision-making. With strong vision and occasional use on the right wing, he organises play effectively and drives Brondby into dangerous areas.
Scope for growth remains. As he learns the number ten role, he could further raise his goal and assist output. Deeper as a number eight, he would need to sharpen his defensive work, as he grafts but can protect the back line better.
