Striker Noel Futkeu will spend the rest of the season at SV Elversberg, who have an option to make the move permanent next summer.
Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan Noel Futkeu to SV Elversberg. The attacker joins the Bundesliga newcomers until 30 June 2027, with the Saarland club having an option to make the move permanent next summer.
Futkeu joined the Eagles from Schwarz-Weiß Essen in 2023. He went on to score 16 goals in 27 Regionalliga appearances for the U21s, and also made a brief cameo for the first team in the 2023/24 DFB Cup before joining SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 2024. After finishing as the top goalscorer in Bundesliga 2 in 2025/26, Eintracht exercised their buy-back clause to bring Futkeu back to Frankfurt.
Sporting director Timmo Hardung said: “Noel Futkeu is a good example of how youngsters at Eintracht Frankfurt can develop into first-team players through various paths – via the U21s or through a spell in another league. In Elversberg, Noel has found a highly promising environment to establish himself in the Bundesliga too.”
