Norwich City must target Jamie Vardy and Augustine Boakye if Mo Touré leaves before the end of the window
Mo Touré’s future at Norwich City is up in the air as we approach the final weeks of the transfer window.
The forward is attracting interest from Premier League new boys Hull City, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.
Porto are also believed to be keen on the striker, who made a big impact for the Canaries after joining the club last January.
The 22-year-old scored nine goals in 11 appearances in the Championship, while also registering three assists.
But now the Norfolk outfit face a fight to hold onto a key part of Philippe Clement’s side, with the transfer market set to shut on 1 September.
Here we look at two deals Norwich must explore if Touré does depart Carrow Road between now and the end of the window…

Jamie Vardy is currently still a free agent after departing Cremonese at the end of the previous campaign.
The forward enjoyed an impressive individual season in Serie A, scoring on seven occasions from 29 appearances in the division.
But he could now return to English football after his contract expired with the Italian club following their relegation to Serie B.
If Norwich were to cash in on Touré, then they would need somebody capable of scoring on a consistent basis, and Vardy has a proven track record of just that.
The 39-year-old bagged 18 goals in his most recent Championship season, helping Leicester City earn promotion in 2024.
If he is willing to return to the second tier, then Norwich would have to consider him as an option to replace Touré, even as he approaches the final seasons of his career.
Vardy performed well in Italy, and knows the second division in and out, so he could be a shrewd signing to take on the responsibility of goal scoring duties.
While it would be a short-term solution, the 39-year-old would also be available as a free agent, which would make it more financially viable for the club.

Augustine Boakye has emerged as a potential transfer target for Norwich in the closing stages of the transfer window.
The 25-year-old had a strong 2025/26 with Saint-Étienne, contributing five goals and nine assists from 31 appearances in Ligue 2.
The forward is a versatile player, who is capable of playing as the leading striker, or on either flank as a winger.
With Jovon Makama also capable of sharing the load between winger and striker, Clement could opt to utilise one through the middle and one on the right going forward.
Boakye had a combined expected goals and expected assists (xG+xA) last season of 0.45 per 90, while taking 2.04 shots and creating 1.82 chances each game (all stats from Fotmob)
The forward also successfully dribbled past his opponents 1.27 times per 90 at a success rate of 51.5 per cent.
If Norwich are confident he could make the transition to English football, he could be a sensible signing in the event that Touré is sold in the final weeks of the transfer window.
