FLW's Norwich City fan pundit has shared their thoughts on the permanent addition of Sam Field from QPR
Norwich City are looking to continue their upwards trajectory under Philippe Clement, having already made two additions to begin the summer window ahead of a hotly contested Championship campaign.
Under Belgian boss Clement, Norwich were a team transformed, going from relegation candidates in the first half of the campaign to play-off contenders in the second.
The former Rangers manager has excelled both on and off the pitch since arriving at Carrow Road, and will be aiming to continue that trend over the summer window and heading into next season.
Both Ali Ahmed and Mohamed Toure joined in January from Vancouver Whitecaps and Randers, respectively, and both have proven to be excellent additions to the squad, as Canaries supporters hope for similar over the coming months.
Brazilian centre-back Bruno Alves kicked off their summer by signing on loan from Cruzeiro with a view to making it permanent, as the club has since made a second addition with a wealth of Championship experience under his belt.

Following Alves through the door is a name Norwich fans have grown to become familiar with across the last six months in the form of Sam Field.
Field, 28, is by no means a spring chicken anymore, but his wealth of Championship experience is something that, aside from Kenny McLean and Harry Darling, is sorely lacking in the Canaries ranks.
The English midfielder has made over 230 second-tier appearances for the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Queens Park Rangers, and, most recently, Norwich, having made the switch to Norfolk initially on loan in January from the Hoops.
Field made 13 league appearances under Clement following the move, and has now made his stay at Carrow Road a permanent one in a deal worth an initial £1.5 million, but one that could reach a potential £3 million if the Canaries earn Premier League promotion.
Football League World's Norwich fan pundit, Zeke Downes, has shared their thoughts on the permanent addition of Field, whether his reported fee is too high, and how he may fit into the squad.
Zeke told FLW: "I'd say if it did rise to £3 million, that would probably be too much. And, obviously, we're looking to get promoted, so if that does happen, then it would rise to up to £3 million, which is a lot, and it's probably too much for him.
"But it's a good signing. He knows the squad, knows the manager now. He fitted in really well when he joined in the winter, and he's got a lot of experience, and he's in that age bracket that we don't really have now.
"I think it's a pretty low-risk player to add to the squad. I don't know how many games he would play because he'd be lower down the pecking order, but there are definitely matches in which he would be really useful."

As Clement continues to stamp his authority on the Norwich squad, the more his ambition for the club becomes clearer.
Whilst Field is not necessarily the most exciting addition in the world, nor is he an automatic starter week in, week out, he is a more than capable operator in the middle of the park, and someone that the Belgian coach knows he can rely upon, which can be invaluable in itself.
His initial £1.5 million fee is not eye-watering by any means, and for a player in the prime of his abilities with ample Championship experience, on the face of it, it seems like a very good deal for the Canaries.
That fee only rises to £3 million, subject to promotion to the Premier League, where, at which point, they almost certainly won't mind paying the extra bit of the fee to QPR.
Field will play a big role for Norwich in the upcoming campaign, even if he isn't an automatic starter, and his addition could prove to be worth its weight in gold.
