Not staying at Boca: two clubs battling for Jabes Saralegui

Two teams from Argentine football are fighting to sign Jabes Saralegui. The midfielder returned to Boca after his loan spell at Tigre, and it is a fact that he will not have a place in the team managed by Claudio Úbeda.

One of the teams that wants to have the 22-year-old midfielder is Tigre. The Victoria-based team wants him to stay at the club at the request of their coach, Diego Dabove. It is worth remembering that his loan at the Matador ended on December 31, and the club's directors have offered a new one-year loan.

Jabes Saralegui could be loaned out to Tigre again.

The other club that wants to add him as a reinforcement for next season is Independiente de Avellaneda. El Rojo has made an offer, but for now, the Victoria side has the best chance of signing the midfielder who came up through the Xeneize youth system.

In the coming hours, his new loan will be decided: he will either return to Tigre or join Independiente. What is certain is that he will not be considered by Claudio Úbeda for the team from La Ribera.

Boca continues with preseason training

While waiting for reinforcements, the squad began preseason on January 2 and has completed two double-session training days with a stay in between. Sunday's session was a single morning training session.

This Monday, the players will resume double-session training, in the morning and afternoon, including all staying together at a hotel near the Ezeiza training ground. This will continue until Saturday, January 10.
