Nottingham Forest defender to miss Aston Villa clash

Oliver Glasner has confirmed Nicolò Savona will remain Nottingham Forest’s only absentee for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

The defender has endured setbacks during his recovery, with Forest taking a cautious approach to his return.

“It’s just Nicolò Savona that is still out unfortunately,” Glasner confirmed.

“He’s had a few setbacks so we’re progressing slowly. But he’s on track and there is no pressure on him. So far he has reacted fine.”

Forest otherwise have a healthy squad to choose from as they prepare to face Unai Emery’s side, Glasner said.
