According to Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks with Nottingham Forest to sign Arnaud Kalimuendo.
The 24-year-old centre forward spent last season on loan at Frankfurt, where he played 19 Bundesliga games and scoring one six occasions.
As per reports, both clubs still have some details to figure out if Frankfurt are to land their deadline target.
Forest are demanding a permanent transfer, rather than another loan, this time with an obligation to buy. In other words, if Frankfurt want their man, they’ll need to pay the full amount up front.
The fee Forest is demanding is slightly more than €30m. With a current transfer value of €25m on TransferMarkt, Forest are holding out to get a top deal for their asset.
Several clubs are also said to be interested in Kalimuendo and could challenge Frankfurt for his signature.
Another transfer to watch out for ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
