Nottingham Forest are considering making a second managerial appointment this season, with Ange Postecoglou struggling at the City Ground.
Forest have yet to win under Postecoglou during his seven games in charge, and owner Evangelos Marinakis could make another change in the dugout.
The Tricky Trees sit dangerously above the relegation zone and desperately need a turnaround.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is an option for the Nottinghamshire-based club. He could leave the Scottish outfit at the end of the season, according to journalist Alex Crook.
Rodgers has Premier League experience, having previously managed Liverpool and Leicester City.
He finished second in the Premier League with the Reds and won the FA Cup and Community Shield with the latter. He has also spearheaded Celtic to numerous trophies.
Rodgers is a proven architect of structure and identity. He offers a track record of developing players, improving standards, and instilling belief in squads that have lost direction.
His ability to blend pragmatism with expansive football could finally give Forest the balance they’ve been chasing since returning to the Premier League.
While questions linger over whether he’d take on such a volatile project, there’s no doubt he’d elevate the club’s stature overnight.
For a club teetering on uncertainty, Rodgers could be the calm, commanding presence they desperately need.
