Nottingham Forest host Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground this afternoon, aiming to build on last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Anfield after successive defeats to Leeds United. According to Nottingham Post, Oliver Glasner wants a first win to spark the season now the window is shut. Kick-off is 3pm.
Team news brings one change, with Liam Delap handed his first start and Daniel Munoz named among the substitutes. Glasner had said Sangare was available after missing last weekend, but the midfielder is not in the squad.
Delap arrived for a club-record £45 million fee and the head coach has called the 23-year-old a “perfect fit”. The striker is seeking a fresh start after a difficult year at Chelsea following his move from Ipswich Town 12 months ago.
“One year ago, the entire Premier League wanted him. I think he had offers from lots of Premier League clubs after his season at Ipswich,” Glasner said.
The City Ground will also host Burton Joyce Under-16s as part of Forest’s Magic Moments campaign. Many of the team were close to Josh Travis, the former Forest academy goalkeeper who passed away in November 2025, and they raised more than £320 for Bipolar UK with a 50p-per-goal initiative after two players suffered a family loss last season.
