Nottingham Forest face FC Midtjylland in the Europa League last 16 on Thursday. Their October meeting at the City Ground ended 3-2 to the Danes on a night when the mood turned on Ange Postecoglou early in his reign. Forest come into this tie after a 2-2 draw at Manchester City, with Vitor Pereira weighing several fitness calls.
Lorenzo Lucca has been assessed in Italy after an ankle problem. According to Area Napoli, a two-hour check in Rome found no need for surgery, the issue was not especially concerning and he should recover as quickly as possible. He had travelled home last week for the evaluation.
John Victor damaged his knee against Aston Villa in early January and had surgery. In January Sean Dyche said it was a minor operation and there was no timescale.
Nicolo Savona has not featured since 22 January with a knee injury. On 2 March, Vitor Pereira said he did not know if he would play again this season, and that medical staff would advise after surgery.
Pereira said he hopes 34-year-old Chris Wood will appear again this term as he continues his knee recovery.
Stefan Ortega picked up a calf knock against Fenerbahce, and last week Pereira said he thought it would be only a few more days out.
Willy Boly has a knee issue and his return date remains to be confirmed.
