With the English transfer window closing on 1 September, Nottingham Forest have made an offer for Corinthians midfielder André Luiz, according to Meu Timao.
Daily Mail reports Forest are willing to pay £13.6 million, around R$ 95.5 million. It adds he would replace Elliott Anderson, sold to Manchester City in late July.
André broke into the Brasileiro a year ago. Milan tried in January, then in February made an offer worth up to €17 million, which Corinthians rejected. Crystal Palace are also monitoring him.
The 20-year-old debuted in September 2025 in a 1-0 win over Fluminense under Dorival Júnior. He has 47 appearances, 31 starts, seven goals and two assists, and featured in the 2025 Copa do Brasil and 2026 Supercopa do Brasil triumphs.
He had become a starter for Fernando Diniz this season until a grade 2 left hamstring injury on 6 August. He is due back in early September.
If completed, the move would see him follow academy graduate Murillo, sold to Forest in 2023 in a €14 million package, about R$ 73.8 million. Corinthians’ 2026 budget targets roughly R$ 151 million from player sales, and they own 70% of André Luiz’s rights.
