Nottingham Forest have secured a front-of-shirt partnership with Marex, completed four days before Leeds United’s visit to start their Premier League season.
The multi-year agreement will see Marex’s logo on the front of Forest’s shirts as they enter a fifth consecutive Premier League season under newly appointed Oliver Glasner. It also covers the women’s team and the Nottingham Forest netball side.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis said in a statement that the partnership represents another step in the club’s growth and that he looks forward to a successful relationship.
Forest were sponsored by Bally’s last season, but new rules barring top-flight clubs from gambling-linked sponsors meant they needed a new partner.
They were among a handful of Premier League sides who risked starting the campaign with a blank shirt front. Like many clubs, they have been affected by restrictions on gambling promotion, with five of their last seven sponsors linked to the industry.
One exception came in 2022-2023, when Forest displayed the UNHCR logo after failing to secure a principal sponsor.
Marex is a diversified global financial services platform with more than 50 offices worldwide and over 3,000 employees across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
