Nottingham Forest will spend 12 days in Portugal next month as part of their preparations for 2026/27. Three friendlies have been set up against Blackburn Rovers, Vitoria de Guimaraes and Sporting Lisbon.

Head coach Vitor Pereira will take the squad to his home country as the club gears up for a fifth straight top-flight campaign. The club said in a statement that supporters will be able to attend or stream the Blackburn and Sporting fixtures, with ticketing and streaming details to follow once finalised.

Forest face Blackburn on 22 July at the Estadio de Nora, 11am BST. Vitoria follows behind closed doors on 26 July. They then meet Sporting on 31 July at the Estadio Algarve, kick-off to be confirmed.

The camp is intended to let Pereira build unity and sharpen tactics and fitness during an extended spell together.

Further friendlies will be confirmed in due course, with games in the UK likely as part of the build-up.

Forest begin their Premier League season against Leeds United at the City Ground on 22 August. They aim to push for a return to European football while avoiding another relegation battle.
