Nottingham Forest have submitted an offer worth up to £22m for Crystal Palace wing-back Daniel Munoz, comprising £20m plus £2m in add-ons. According to NY Times, Palace are considering the bid.

A move to the City Ground would reunite the 30-year-old with Oliver Glasner, under whom he thrived before the Austrian left Selhurst Park at the end of last season. Munoz has two years left on the contract he extended in April last year.

Forest have explored other right wing-back options, including talks over Celta Vigo’s Javi Rueda. Ola Aina has started there in Forest’s opening two matches, both home defeats to Leeds United.

Palace have strengthened on the right this summer, signing Anan Khalaili from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in a £21m deal.

Munoz joined Palace from Genk in January 2024 for €8.1m (£6.9m). He has made 109 appearances, helping the club win the FA Cup in 2024-25 and the UEFA Conference League in 2025-26.

The Colombia international has 51 caps, including five appearances at the World Cup earlier this summer. Forest have made five signings this summer, with Liam Delap joining Ousmane Diomande, Gustavo Sa, Xaver Schlager and Steven Benda in a club-record move from Chelsea worth up to £50m including add-ons.
