Notts County are set to sign Scunthorpe United winger Callum Roberts on a free transfer.
Notts County will be playing League One football next season for the first time in 11 years, after they beat Salford City 3-0 at Wembley Stadium on Monday.
The Magpies put on a storming display at the national stadium to ensure they booked their place back in the third tier of English football after over a decade away.
The oldest club in the EFL spent four years outside the Football League between 2019 and 2023, with three seasons back in League Two, eventually concluding in promotion to League One via the play-offs.
Alassana Jatta, Lucas Ness, and Jodi Jones were the difference-makers under the famed Wembley arch on Monday, writing themselves into a new chapter of County folklore.
Now, just over 24 hours after the final whistle, Notts County have reportedly agreed their first signing as a League One club.

Following a historic promotion back to the third tier, the Magpies are now looking to build a squad that can steer them clear of the League One drop zone.
It seems there's been no messing around by the recruitment team to ensure this happens too, as reports from transfer expert Pete O'Rourke have revealed that Notts County have agreed a deal to sign Scunthorpe United attacking midfielder/winger Cal Roberts.
The 29-year-old scored 19 goals and assisted a further eight in 42 National League outings for the Iron this season, as they fell to defeat in the play-off semi-finals to eventual winners Rochdale.
Roberts' move to Meadow Lane will mark the second time he's represented the Magpies, having previously spent three seasons on the banks of the River Trent, where he scored 20 goals in 52 outings before moving on to Aberdeen.
This comes after Scunthorpe announced that the winger had turned down a new deal on Tuesday in favour of a move to an EFL club, which has now been revealed to be Notts County.

After a stunning day under the scorching sun at Wembley on Monday, the planning for the new season has already started at Meadow Lane, and it's fair to say their first signing is a sensible move.
County need experienced heads as they venture back into League One, and whilst Roberts hasn't played in the EFL since the 2018/19 season, he certainly brings a wealth of know-how to the table.
Coming off the back of his best ever season, the 29-year-old will be full of confidence as he returns to an environment he's already thrived in once before.
Whilst this step-up will undoubtedly present a huge challenge for Roberts, who's spent most of his career thus far in non-league, bringing in a senior player who previously succeeded with the club on a free off the back of his best ever season is a no-brainer for the newly-promoted side.
