Nubank Parque hit a landmark on Wednesday as Palmeiras’ 3-0 home win over Santos took the arena past nine million attendees at men’s first-team matches.

According to Nosso Palestra, the milestone came in the 357th professional game at the venue since its 2014 opening. Palmeiras’ first trophy there was the 2015 Copa do Brasil, also against Santos.

Beyond football, the arena has hosted more than 280 concerts by major Brazilian and international artists. It was included among IQ Magazine’s 20 Stadium Stars worldwide and led Pollstar’s South American arena ticket sales ranking. It is also a finalist for best sports facility in South America in CONFUT Sudamericana voting.

This year’s bill has already featured Bad Bunny, Luan Santana, Guns N’ Roses, Djavan, Xuxa, Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano and Chitãozinho & Xororó. Still to come are Maroon 5, Robbie Williams, Iron Maiden, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie and Ed Sheeran. The venue will also stage the São Paulo Super Match tennis event with João Fonseca and Carlos Alcaraz.

The complex houses restaurants specialising in Japanese cuisine, premium meats and pasta, plus a salon and coworking space. Premium areas include Parque Mirante with open bar, open food, security staff and portable chargers, while the Fanzone offers live music, appearances by former players and a tattoo studio.
