Nuri Sahin appointed coach of Istanbul Basaksehir

Unattached since last January, Sahin is now back on the touchline in the Süper Lig. He will officially sign his contract on Monday with Basaksehir, who have kicked off their season in style with two wins from two matches. The former Turkish national team midfielder, who also played for Dortmund, Real Madrid, and Feyenoord, will be tasked with breathing new life into the Istanbul club.
