Serbian international Sara Pavlović, who won the ÖFB-Frauen Bundesliga last season with Austria Wien, has joined SK Sturm Graz on a free transfer after the conclusion of her contract.

Pavlović is a seasoned international and brings a wealth of experience to the Graz side. Having represented Serbia in the 2019 Women’s World Cup qualifying round and winning both the league and a domestic cup with Austria Wien during the 2025/26 season, it’s a strong sign of intent from Graz.

“I am very happy to be part of SK Sturm and grateful for the warm welcome in Graz,” Pavlović admitted during her signing. “I am looking forward to everything that lies ahead. The hard work, the challenges, and the opportunity to be successful together with this team. At the same time, I am excited to develop further both as a player and as a person.”

Pavlović a long-standing transfer target for Sturm Graz

Sporting Director of SK Sturm Graz, Michael Erlitz admitted Pavlović has been on the radar for some time.

“With Sara Pavlovic, we’re gaining a player who will bring even more creativity, game intelligence, and quality to our central midfield,” he said.

Erlitz continued, “She’s been a player we’ve been absolutely keen to sign for quite some time, which is why I’m particularly pleased that we were able to reach an agreement after many positive discussions over the past few months. I’m convinced that Sara is an excellent fit for Sturm Graz, both on and off the pitch, and will offer our team significant added value on our journey towards our shared goals.”
