Ratings

Defence

Jack Butland – 5The keeper had shaky moments, including an error that led to the equaliser. Needs to steady himself.

James Tavernier – 7Worked hard up and down the right, offered leadership and some decent delivery going forward.

John Souttar – 7Solid in the air and strong in the tackle. Handled the physical side of Kilmarnock’s attack well.

Derek Cornelius – 7Scored the opener and looked composed throughout. A real presence in both boxes.

Jayden Meghoma – 6Brought pace and drive down the left, though his final ball was mixed at times.

Midfield

Thelo Aasgaard – 5Struggled to influence proceedings. A quieter outing where he couldn’t stamp authority on midfield.

Nicolas Raskin – 6Worked hard and kept things tidy, but didn’t dictate play as much as he can.

Mohamed Diomandé – 6Energetic and defensively disciplined. Broke up play well and supported the back line.

Attack

Djeidi Gassama – 5Tried to make things happen down the flank, but lacked precision in the final third.

Bojan Miovski – 4Off the pace, missed key chances and offered little threat before being replaced.

Danilo – 6Scored and led the line well, showing signs of growing confidence and sharpness.

Substitutes

Mikey Moore – 6Added fresh legs late on, kept the tempo up and pressed effectively.

Connor Barron – 6Slotted in smoothly and helped see the game out with composure.

Max Aarons – 5Limited impact due to lack of time, solid enough defensively.

Youssef Chermiti – 7Made a real difference after coming on, scoring to seal the win. A confidence boost.

Lyall Cameron – N/ANot on long enough to be rated.

Danny Rohl: 6

He will be happy this was a bit better than the shambles v Brann, and he’s arrested a terrible run of form. But for all that he says in the press, he will not be under any illusions about this match. The real tests are to come.
