Belgian First Division B outfit K Beerschot V.A have announced the signing of South Africa under-20 international Siviwe Magidigidi from Siwelele FC.

The 20-year-old striker put pen to paper on a three-and-half-year deal that will keep him at Kiel until June 2029.

Developed by the Ubuntu Academy in Cape Town, Magidigidi scored four goals and laid a solitary assist in 12 Betway Premiership matches this season - his debut campaign.

Moreover, he scored twice for Amajita in the Under-20 FIFA World Cup that recently took place in Chile, where South Africa crashed out in the Round of 32.

Now, he is set for a new chapter in Belgium as his new side, Beerschot, sits third in the Challenger Pro League.

Beerschot are in contention for a promotion play-off spot, having picked up 36 points in 19 league outings - six points behind an automatic promotion spot.

Notably, Magidigidi will join compatriot Cassius Mailula, who turns out for KV Kortjijk in the Belgian second division.

Shandre Campbell is another South African in Belgium, but the Bafana international is a regular feature in Club Brugge's senior team this season.
