Official: Barcelona, Atlético & Athletic Club stars named in UCL Team of the Week | OneFootball

A trio of La Liga representatives feature front and centre in the latest UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.

This comes owing to their respective efforts over the last 48 hours.

Beginning between the posts, Unai Simón gets the nod after holding reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain at bay en route to an impressive share of the spoils for Athletic Club.

Moving into defence, and Barcelona standout Jules Koundé is first up, taking his place at right-back in the TOTW after notching a match-winning brace in the Blaugrana’s victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

And the final La Liga inclusion comes at the heart of defence, where Dávid Hancko, despite Atlético Madrid conceding a pair of goals, is rewarded for his stellar performance in a hard-fought victory over PSV Eindhoven.
