FC Barcelona will soon be kicking off their second La Liga fixture of the season against Athletic Club. At home for this particular clash, Hansi Flick’s team will be eager to have the support of their fans behind them for this clash at the Spotify Camp Nou.

However, Athletic Club will be equally as determined to get a positive result for themselves here as well. Thus, it is imperative for Flick and his chosen players to be at their very best and deny the opposition any kind of joy here.

The following eleven players have been selected by Flick to start this game for Barcelona.

In goal, unsurprisingly, Joan Garcia has been chosen to defend the net between the sticks. The Spaniard managed to keep a clean sheet in Barça’s previous game, and he will be eager to do that again in this clash.

Ahead of him, a defensive partnership of Gerard Martin and Pau Cubarsi will look to defend the Barça goal and ensure the opponents are troubled whenever they attack. Both of them will have a huge responsibility in this game.
