FC Barcelona will be kicking off their game against Girona soon in La Liga. A crucial league encounter for the Catalan giants, they need a win here in order to return to the top of the table and they will look to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

With Raphinha now available as well, Hansi Flick has even more options at his disposal. Thanks to his return from injury, Flick’s chosen eleven now has considerable firepower to play around with and use it to hurt their opponents in this important game.

Here is the official starting eleven for La Blaugrana.

In goal, Joan Garcia starts for FC Barcelona and the Spanish goalkeeper will be tasked with keeping Girona at bay. He struggled against Atletico Madrid, so he will likely want to bounce back in this game.

Ahead of him, the centre-back partnership of Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia will look to defend the Barça goal. Both players will need to be sharp, and they will look to avoid giving away any easy chances to the opposition.

On the flanks, Gerard Martin and Jules Kounde start for La Blaugrana. They will have to cover a lot of ground to help out in both attack and defense, but they have the quality to manage that.

In midfield, Frenkie de Jong starts alongside Dani Olmo in the double-pivot role. Both players will need to manage their defensive duties while also ensuring that they can create opportunities for their teammates.

Ahead of them, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha operate as the two wide forwards while Fermin Lopez starts in between them as the central attacking midfielder. All three players will need to be sharp in order to hurt Girona.

Lastly, up top, Ferran Torres starts as the team’s centre-forward and focal point in attack. He will act as the target man for the opportunities that arrive in the opposition’s box and he will need to be clinical with them.
