Official: Barcelona & Real Madrid stars included in UCL Team of the Week | OneFootball

Leading players from Spanish football’s two biggest clubs have secured for themselves places in the Champions League Team of the Week.

This of course comes owing to their respective efforts in the latest round of fixtures in European football’s elite club competition.

First up comes Real Madrid standout Vinícius Jr.

Wide-man Vinícius was for his part in scintillating form on his way to Man of the Match honours in a meeting with AS Monaco on Tuesday night.

En route to an eventual 6-1 triumph for Los Blancos, Vinícius racked up a goal and a head-turning three assists.

And joining the 25-year-old in the Team of the Week is a member of the midfield ranks at Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.

The Blaugrana also secured a three-point haul in the penultimate round of league fixtures in the Champions League, at the expense of Slavia Praha.

And after netting a fine brace, Fermín López has seen his effort recognised by UEFA.

Also included in the latest Team of the Week are Giuliano Simeone of Atlético Madrid, and Athletic Club star Robert Navarro.
