FC Barcelona will battle Newcastle United at the Spotify Camp Nou in a little while, with a spot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final on the line.
With the first leg ending in a 1-1 draw last week, the Blaugrana have everything to play for today, and manager Hansi Flick has named a formidable starting lineup to face Eddie Howe’s side.
There are a few changes made to the team that took the field against Sevilla over the weekend, starting with Lamine Yamal, who takes his rightful place on the right flank. Roony Bardghji drops out.
Meanwhile, Eric Garcia is back in the team after not playing in the last two matches. He is expected to slot in at right-back, while Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, and Joao Cancelo make up the rest of the defensive line.
Joan Garcia will guard the goal as usual for the home team.
Meanwhile, in midfield, Pedri and Marc Bernal continue as the double pivot, while Fermin Lopez replaces Dani Olmo in the No. 10 position.
Robert Lewandowski once again starts as the centre-forward despite suggestions that Ferran Torres could get the nod. Raphinha continues on the left flank.
