Bundesliga newcomers Bochum have announced the signing of 24-year-old midfielder Eduard Löwen on a one-year loan deal from Hertha Berlin.
“Bochum is a traditional club that gives me the opportunity to play in the Bundesliga,” said Löwen. “Bochum presented itself as a top club in the second division. The people in charge here tried very hard to help me so that the decision was an easy one for me. It’s important for me to collect match practise in order to keep the team in the league.”
Löwen played just seven Bundesliga games last season.
