The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced this Wednesday the stadiums and kick-off times for the African qualifying play-off matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Four teams who finished second in their respective qualification groups are involved: Gabon, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Cameroon.

Nigeria will face Gabon, while Cameroon will take on the Democratic Republic of Congo.

On the road to the global play-off: the African mini-tournament kicks off November 13

These four teams will battle it out for a spot in the continental play-off scheduled for March 2026, giving the winner a chance to claim Africa's tenth and final ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Match schedule:

  1. First semi-final:Nigeria × Gabon – Thursday, November 13, 4:00 pm (GMT ) at El Barid Stadium, Rabat.
  2. Second semi-final: Cameroon × DR Congo – Thursday, November 13, 7:00 pm (GMT) at Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, Rabat.
