Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Cape Town City have announced the signing of experienced midfielder Miguel Timm.
The 33-year-old was in the books of Betway Premiership side Sekhukhune United, having joined them on a free transfer in July 2025 after his exit at Orlando Pirates.
Timm spent just five months with Babina Noko, making 14 appearances across all competitions, which prompted a mutual separation as the player wanted ample game time.
Notably, he is the Citizens' second acquisition in the ongoing January transfer window as the club also confirmed the signing of former TS Galaxy striker Dzenan Zajmovic on Sunday.
The front man who scored 11 goals and laid two assists in 28 matches for the Rockets last season, arrived on a free transfer after parting ways with Iran Persian Gulf Pro League side Zob Ahan.
This comes after Zajmovic left Galaxy at the end of the 2024/25 campaign as the two parties failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension.
Now, the Cape Club saw the pair as a perfect market opportunity to pounce on as they look to boost their promotion chances.
City currently sit fourth on the second-tier standings with 22 points accumulated from 14 matches, and trail log leaders Milford FC with five points.
