Official: Cenk joins Trabzonspor | OneFootball

Valencia said in a statement that Cenk Ozcakar has joined Trabzonspor on a permanent deal, returning to Türkiye. The club will receive about 1.7 million euros.

The sum is slightly below what Valencia still had to amortise after buying his rights from Lyon for five million in 2023.

Ozcakar leaves having featured across two seasons for Valencia. He first arrived on loan, then the club exercised a five million option a year later.

He signed a five-year contract but only played the first of those seasons. The next two campaigns were spent on loan at Valladolid and Cologne.

Corberán now has three fit centre-backs, Tárrega, De Haas and Diakhaby. The latter is returning from a long injury and, despite promising early pre-season signs, it remains to be seen how he handles a sustained workload.

With Copete sidelined long term, Iker Córdoba could step into a first-team role after his loan at Mirandés.
