FC Nantes have officially announced the extension of Tylel Tati’s (18) contract by a further two seasons, taking it through to 2030.

Thrown straight into the deep end of Ligue 1 by Luis Castro at the start of the season, the young Canari quickly established himself as a key figure in the Nantes defence. So much so that he was offered his first professional contract at the start of October 2025.

Having been dropped from the first-team squad by Ahmed Kantari, Tati regained his place in the starting line-up following Vahid Halilhodžić’s appointment as Nantes manager. In total, the France Under-19 international has started every one of the 20 matches he has played since the start of the 2025–26 season.

Whilst this contract extension is good news for FC Nantes, there is a strong likelihood that Tati will be moving on to pastures new this summer, having already been targeted by Chelsea last winter. With a market value estimated at €25 million by the specialist website Transfermarkt, the Champigny-sur-Marne native could be the Breton club’s next big sale.
