Official: Ifeanyi Ndukwe joins Levante on loan from Liverpool | OneFootball

Levante have completed the signing of Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Liverpool, their eighth addition of the summer to bolster central defence. The Austrian centre-back is 18.

The club said in a statement that he has joined on loan until the end of the season.

Ndukwe began at WAF Brigittenau, then in 2016 joined Austria Wien’s academy. He made his Bundesliga debut on 10 May against Rapid Vienna, and linked up with Liverpool at the end of that campaign.

He impressed in Liverpool’s pre-season. He did not meet the minimum work permit requirements to play in the Premier League, so heads to Orriols to continue his development.

At Levante he will vie for a place with Dela, Mandi and Cabello. He is a regular for Austria at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, and last year was a World Cup finalist in Qatar with the Under-17s.
