The squad of players called upon by La Liga giants Real Madrid for the club’s next outing has been unveiled online.

And it features one altogether noteworthy return, at the back.

Real Madrid are of course primed to kick their La Liga campaign back into gear on Sunday, in a meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

Los Blancos head into the matchup in the midst of an alarming recent stretch of form, fresh off a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City in midweek.

All of a Real persuasion will therefore no doubt be delighted to learn of the latest news in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

As confirmed by way of the club’s squad announcement for tomorrow, Dean Huijsen, following a recent spell on the sidelines, is back available for selection.

Also called up for the trip to Vitoria-Gasteiz despite fitness concerns this week are both Antonio Rüdiger and Kylian Mbappé.
