With the international break just around the corner, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has announced the squad list of players for their upcoming games against Georgia and Bulgaria.

As expected, there is heavy representation from FC Barcelona, with Lamine Yamal among the five Blaugrana players called up by the La Roja boss.

Along with the 18-year-old wonderkid, De la Fuente has also included Pedri, Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres, and Pau Cubarsi in the squad list.

Barcelona were not in favour of Lamine being called up, especially considering that he returned with an injury from the previous international break and only made his comeback from the layoff earlier this week.

But that has not stopped De la Fuente from including the 2025 Ballon d’Or runner-up in the squad for the matches against Georgia and Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, Eric Garcia has been overlooked once again by the manager despite the defender’s exceptional performances in recent weeks.

Alejandro Balde also does not make the cut, having only made his comeback from injury a couple of days ago. Fermin Lopez misses out because of injury, while Gerard Martin has not been considered either.
