Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of defender Khulumani Ndamane from TS Galaxy ahead of the second round of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 21-year-old stalwart, who joined the Rockets from Kaizer Chiefs' reserve team last season, signed for the Tshwane giants in September last year but remained at Galaxy on loan.

Ndamane's performances caught the eye of national team head coach Hugo Broos and he was part of the Bafana squad at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

He made 15 appearances and chipped in with two assists across all competitions for the Tim Sukazi-owned club this season.

Now, he is set for a new chapter with his parent club at Chloorkop as Masandawana look to reign supreme on the domestic and continental stage.

Sundowns return to action with a Betway Premiership clash against Orbit College on 20 January, having ended 2025 trailing log leaders Orlando Pirates, who have a game in hand, with two points.
