Former OGC Nice goalkeeper Maxime Dupé (33) has joined Ligue 2 side FC Nantes as a free agent, Les Canaris have announced. Dupé returns where his career started. He joined the club’s Academy at 15 before signing his first professional contract in 2012. From 2014 to 2019, he featured 64 times for Nantes, more often than not as a back-up goalkeeper.

In 2024, he put pen to paper over a two-year deal with OGC Nice. He left Les Aiglons as a free agent in the summer. He has signed another two-year deal with Nantes, with the option to extend his contract until 2029. Given his experience, Dupé is expected to be Michel Der Zakarian’s No. 1 choice between the sticks.
