With the final international break of the 2024 calendar year looming, France have announced their squad list for the same and in a major surprise captain and Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has been left out once again.

The 25-year-old superstar was not part of the Les Bleus squad last month either citing fitness reasons, prompting a lot of controversy and criticism towards him.

Now, Mbappe has been left out of the France squad once again by Didier Deschamps.

In fact, only one Real Madrid star – Eduardo Camavinga – makes the cut for Les Bleus’ upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Israel and Italy.

Aurelien Tchouameni misses out as he is injured and unavailable for at least one month. Meanwhile, left-back Ferland Mendy has also been excluded by Deschamps.

Mbappe happens to be the captain of the French national team but his recent form for Real Madrid has not been good enough. It might have played a part in his omission from the squad by Deschamps.
