Official | Paris FC secure Rudy Matondo from Auxerre | OneFootball

Paris FC have officially announced the signing of Rudy Matondo (17) from AJ Auxerre. 

The Auxerre academy product only made his debut last season, as a substitute in the 1-0 victory over Stade Rennais on the 6th of April. He then went on to appear in four other fixtures for Les Ajaistes, when the newly promoted club secured an 11th place in Ligue 1

Matondo had been a more regular fixture this season for Auxerre, 17 appearances for the first team, including an appearance in the Coupe de France exit at the hands of AS Monaco. However, Les Ajaistes have not been able to hit the same heights as they did last season. Auxerre are sat in the relegation zone, only a point above bottom-of-the-table FC Metz. 

Paris FC are looking to maintain their position in the top flight after they won promotion from Ligue 2 last season. However, Matondo may be a signing with the future more in mind.
