Official – PSG expands into another country

This Tuesday, August 4, Paris Saint-Germain published an official statement announcing the opening of a new PSG Academy. This time, it will be in Astana, Kazakhstan.

“Paris Saint-Germain announces the opening of a brand-new PSG Academy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Located in Astana, the country’s capital, and led by entrepreneur Almaz Alsenov, the future football school will welcome up to 300 young female and male players starting in September 2026 for its first season. With this new presence, Kazakhstan becomes the 24th country to join the global PSG Academy network, illustrating the Club’s international reach as well as its ambition to continue passing on its expertise and training methodology to the new generation around the world.”

It is always good news, with PSG continuing to develop its image while giving children the opportunity to access football in the best possible conditions. This Academy has now reached its 24th country, a remarkable success. It could also attract even more supporters, or even a great talent. Even if we have not yet seen a young player discovered in a PSG Academy make it to the professional team.
