La Liga giants Real Madrid have unveiled the club’s latest matchday squad.

This of course comes ahead of Los Blancos kicking their continental campaign back into gear on Wednesday evening.

Real Madrid are primed to mark their return to action in short order, in a Champions League showdown with Italian outfit Juventus.

Xabi Alonso’s troops head into the matchup with confidence high in the camp, fresh off maintaining their lead atop the La Liga table over the weekend.

And as alluded to above, this afternoon, the group of players entrusted with making it two wins from two since the international break was officially unveiled.

The headline inclusion comes in the form of Ferland Mendy’s, with the Frenchman returning to competitive duties for the first time in six months following a long-term spell on the sidelines.

Also called up once more is midfield starlet Thiago Pitarch.
