The squad of players called upon by La Liga giants Real Madrid for their upcoming showdown with Manchester City has been unveiled online.

And it features a trio of highly-regarded up-and-coming youngsters.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action later this evening.

Fresh off a damaging La Liga defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo over the weekend, Los Blancos have shifted focus back towards matters on the continent.

A highly-anticipated meeting with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City lies in wait, at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Xabi Alonso’s troops head into the fixture without the services of a whole host of important players, amid something of an injury crisis in Spain’s capital at present.

This, though, has opened the door for several breakthrough talents to be drafted in for the evening, with all of Joan Martínez, Victor Valdepeñas and Jorge Cestero called up.

Also included despite a recent injury scare is Kylian Mbappé.
