Heading into this game, Real Madrid have shared their final squad list for the game against Barcelona.

Valverde is the obvious one out, having picked up an injury during the brawl against Tchouameni, who makes the team. The biggest news, however, is the return of Thibaut Courtois, who returns to the squad an injury layoff.

Kylian Mbappe continues to miss out due to an injury, although many Real Madrid fans have questioned whether or not the Frenchman is truly committed to the team.

Vinicius Jr., therefore, will continue to play a critical role in the Real Madrid frontline, with support coming in from Brahim Diaz, Jude Bellingham and others.

Real Madrid do have a packed squad in defence, with no real injury absentees other than Ferland Mendy.
