La Liga outfit Real Oviedo have on Tuesday announced the latest addition to the club’s bench.
This comes amid confirmation of Guillermo Almada taking up the reins at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere through the close of the campaign.
The situation in the Real Oviedo dugout has of course proven a tumultuous one across the season to date.
As much comes with the Carbayones brass having already sent not one, but two managers on their way.
The most recent was Luis Carrión, dismissed this past weekend in the aftermath of a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Sevilla.
And as alluded to above, it has not taken those behind the scenes at the Carlos Tartiere at all long to secure the services of Carrión’s successor.
As per a statement across Oviedo’s website and social media platforms on Tuesday:
‘Real Oviedo and Real Valladolid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Guillermo Almada’s federative rights so that the Uruguayan can become the new first team coach until the end of the season.’
