Official: Roma goalkeeper Vasquez joins Besiktas

Turkish side Besiktas have confirmed Devis Vasquez’s loan move from Roma.

Colombian goalkeeper Vasquez has joined Besiktas from Roma on loan with an option to buy, the Turkish club confirmed on Friday evening.

“Beşiktaş and AS Roma have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Devis Vasquez to Beşiktaş on loan,” a statement reads.

“The loan agreement will last until the end of the season and includes a buy option.”

Vasquez, 27, joined the Giallorossi on a free transfer last summer after Milan had terminated his contract by mutual agreement.

Vasquez did not make his Roma debut in the first part of the campaign.

The winter transfer window for Turkish clubs ended on February 6.
