Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel (25) has left FC Nantes just months after joining the Ligue 1 side. He has joined Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
The former AS Saint-Étienne, AS Monaco, Stade Brestois and RC Strasbourg Alsace midfielder joined Nantes from Mainz on a free transfer in the summer. The former France U21 international played 12 times for Les Canaris, making six starts and accumulating 594 minutes of football.
However, Pierre-Gabriel’s time at Nantes has already come to an end. He joins Dinamo Zagreb on a reported free transfer. The Croatian side were in the market for a right-back and had considered a move for FC Metz’s Koffi Kouaom however, no agreement was found between the two clubs for the transfer.
Pierre-Gabriel leave Nantes in a perilous position. Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side are currently 14th and just three points above the relegation zone. Les Canaris have now lost two full-backs in the winter transfer window, with Quentin Merlin also leaving to join Ligue 1 rivals Olympique de Marseille.
