Official: Sissoko leaves Bochum for Nantes, contract to 2028

VfL Bochum said in a statement that Ibrahima Sissoko has left the club for FC Nantes.

The 28-year-old Malian has signed a contract until 2028 with the French top-flight side, who sit 16th.

The move is financially lucrative, with the midfielder set to earn twice the salary he received at Castroper Straße.

The fee remains undisclosed, though it is expected Nantes will pay around €2 million including bonuses.

Bochum signed him on a free from Racing Strasbourg in the summer of 2024.

Since then, he has made 41 appearances for Bochum, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
