Bundesliga side Stuttgart have today announced the signing of 21-year-old German defender Josha Vagnoman from Hamburg on a four-year contract until 2026.
HSV will receive an initial €3.5m for Vagnoman which can increase by a further €800,000.
“I’m very happy that the change worked out,” said Vagnoman. “After the first talks with those responsible, it quickly came clear to me that I wanted to move here. VfB offers young players very good framework conditions to develop. I want to find my way around my new team quickly and do my part to ensure that we have a successful season with VfB. I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in my training so far and I wish HSV all the best.”
Vagnoman has played 71 games in all competitions for Hamburg and can operate both at right-back and in central-defence. The German talent made his debut at 17 against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and also represents Germany at youth level.
